peachgirl is our lovely protagonist, one who has the amazing honor of not only being the eldest of the orchard children,
but also the strongest, silliest, and most transgender of the lot!
her pronouns are she/her, and she plays the guitar! her real name is jungmin, but she's rarely
called that anymore... all her friends call her peach or peachgirl, you know,
like when you give your coworkers nicknames.
"what's your favorite food?"
"ah... food? or does dessert count? 'cause then i'd technically have two favorites. [laughs]"
"why not both?"
"um, then food is 파전 while my favorite dessert is probably 호떡."
"so i gather you really like pancakes?"
"[laughs] yeah. appleboy makes them a lot. we went to japan when the orchard project ended."
"japan?"
"yeah, we got souffle pancakes. it was probably the happiest moment of my life."
"that sounded fun."
"oh, it was! i had such a good time. the tokyo sky tree is really pretty. i wish we went during cherry blossom season."
"say, where's your favorite place?"
"hmm. i wish i could say somewhere in 서울, but i wasn't allowed out much, and then we all got moved to san francisco."

"and so i'm gonna say ocean beach. that or sutro forest."
"you like the forest?"
"yeah. it's quiet there. i saw a coyote crossing the street once. it's a neat place."
"what's your favorite color?"
"aw man! it's obviously pink. don't tell anyone, but my hair's naturally a pale orange."
"no. this is some exlusive info we're getting here."
"yeah. it's only pink because the author forgot what color peaches are"

"i know, right?!"

"hmmm. i listen to a lot of bjork and velvet underground, but honestly, probably little mouth by los campesinos!"
